The 10 minute Look and Act toolkits optimised for mobile phones or other devices are designed as ‘on the job resources’ to identify and respond to the risk that often has serious and sometimes fatal consequences. Pain Management is a high impact/high prevalence risk under Standard 3 of the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and requires prompt recognition and management.
