Business Objectives

Person centred care is about the activities and things that people are still able to do rather than what they cannot do. An enablement approach to care is central to the Aged Care Quality Standards and is the best way to respect the needs and wants of the people you care for. This course will cover the principles of enablement as well as ways to promote independence and wellbeing for all people who receive care or services. Enablement and Optimising Wellbeing aligns to Standard 4 of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
