This 3 part course on pressure injury and ulcers provides a comprehensive learning package.

Pressure injuries and ulcers account for hundreds of thousands of lost hospital days per annum. They cause significant harm to patients. Mostly they can and should be avoided through the implementation of appropriate interventions.

This is part 2 of a 3 part course:

  3. Pressure injury and ulcers: Prevention staging and treatment

This course will meet requirements to undertake continuing professional development and training on preventing and treating pressure injuries and ulcers:

  1. NSQHS Standards - Standard 5: Minimising patient harm - Preventing and managing pressure injuries
  2. ACQS Standard 3: Personal care and clinical care as it relates to providing workforce training on pressure injuries.
