Are you ready for the introduction of the Serious
Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) on the 1st April 2021?

Aged Care Learning Solutions has swiftly responded with the
release of the SIRS – Standing up for People’s Safety and Well-being learning
resource.  The scheme expands on Mandatory Reporting in Residential Aged
Care to identify and reduce abuse and neglect.

This 20 minute learning activity provides a clear
explanation of the scheme, checks on the learner’s understanding of serious
harm, lists the reportable incidents with examples, tests the learners
understanding of reportable and non- reportable incidents, puts SIRS in the
context of other requirements and concludes with 4 scenario based questions.
Links provide easy access to current and future SIRS information and guidance.

Audience: Anyone with an interest in the well-being of older people or providing care and services to older people in residential aged care.
