• Compulsory reporting of reportable assaults

The focus has never been greater on Elder Abuse and will grow over the next 12 to 18 months. Compulsory reporting must be clearly understood by your workforce. Everyone must know what to look for, who to tell and how they can be involved in protecting older people living in residential care and at home. Elder Abuse aligns to Standard 3 of the Quality Aged Care Standards.
