Course Overview:

This module is designed to provide an overview of the recommendations for the classification and treatment of pressure injuries from the Prevention and Treatment of Pressure InjuriesClinical practice guidelineThe International Guideline (2019). 

It is focused on the aged population and is most relevant for personal care workers and assistant nurses who are working in the residential aged care setting.

The course is directly related to the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards as part of Standard Five: Comprehensive Care.
