  • Botanicals (pictured above): These are any part of a plant – for example barks, leaves, roots, fruits, seeds, berries or even flowers – used to give something flavour.
  • Juniper: The berries of the wild juniper bush, which are harvested by hand and dried. In gin-making, juniper must be the dominant flavour.
