At the end of this course paticipants will:

  1. Be able to detail the components of a comprehensive cardiovascular assessment
  2. Know the subjective information required to accurately assess cardiovascular risk factors
  3. Be able to identify developmental concerns that impact
    cardiovascular function and assessment.
  4. Be able to identify normal heart sounds
  5. Be able to identify abnormal heart sounds and their pathological causes.
  6. Be able to perform an objective cardiovascular assessment including inspection, palpation and auscultation of the anterior chest and major vessel
  7. Be able to document a cardiac assessment
