The following Recognizing Abuse and Violence Training For Healthcare Professionals is designed to educate healthcare professionals who provide mental healthcare and services to children, adults, and families on how to protect themselves from violence. 

As a healthcare professional, you may come across a patient or coworker who has experienced abuse and/or violence. This module covers different types of abuse, warning signs of potential abuse, and how to respond appropriately if there are concerns about abuse or violence. Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion to verify you have finished the training.
