Course Overview

In this four module course you will learn about the importance of privacy and dignity and how they can be maintained, as well as the principles of self-care and how to support a person to make their own decisions.

The knowledge element of standard 7 of the Care Certificate is covered in this course.

On completion of the course, you will automatically get a certificate, along with your name, CPD hours, the date and learning objectives.


Target Audience

This course is aimed at:

  • New members of staff in Healthcare Support Worker roles
  • New members of staff in Adult Social Care Worker roles
  • Any staff members who provide direct care to patients or individuals needing support
  • This course will also be useful for:
  • Staff moving into new roles within their organisation
