Course Overview

A guide to the skills and techniques required for wine service in a bar or beverage service environment, featuring 41 minutes of learning material (video, text and photo). The course covers the essentials of wine service from glassware, storage and opening bottles, to serving by both the glass and the bottle.

In this course, you will learn:

  • How to store wine safely.
  • The different glassware needed for wine service.
  • How to serve wine – by the glass and bottle – and the equipment needed.
  • How to open bottles.

Target Audience

The course is intended for existing staff in the hospitality industry expected to serve wine, plus anyone working in an F&B service role who needs to strengthen their knowledge on wine service.
