Course Overview
A respectful culture is built from the giving and earning of respect between people. Peter Quarry explains to Eve Ash that this means showing people that you acknowledge and welcome them, that you will listen to their points of view regardless of their age, backgrounds or beliefs, that you are polite even if you disagree, and that the respect you earn depends on your experience and the constructive use you have made of it.
Respect cannot be commanded; it can only be earned. Peter Quarry and Eve Ash discuss ways to earn respect, including being polite and impartial, allowing others to express their views and valuing oneself.
