Business Income Claims that Cause Problems

Updated Nov 30, 2020The question of whether coverage exists or not is largely hypothetical until the claim is filed. Once the claim comes in, it's too late to consider whether the policy will respond in the way that the insured hopes it will. In this session, we will examine several actual claims and how the Business Income policy responded to them. We will explore how the Business Income policy will respond to Civil Authority; Dependent Properties; and Extended Periods of Indemnity (among other issues).
