Course description
In Windows 8 Microsoft brought the world a modern, secure and touch ready operating system. Applications built for Windows 8 took advantage of the features and the ecosystem to deliver a great experience to end users. In Windows 8.1 they take that a step further. In this course we are going to look at what is involved in retargeting a XAML based application to Windows 8.1. There are things developers need to think about, including new screen layouts, tile options, and more. We will show you what you need to know to take an existing application and retarget it for windows 8.1.
Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.
