What is a supervisor? Do you know the legal definition? It may not be what you think it is. The U.S. Supreme Court has just issued an opinion giving us a more definitive answer to this question. We now know that the authority to direct and oversee the daily work of other employees is not enough for an employee to be considered a supervisor for purposes of legal liability.
