Ultrasound in Sports Medicine

Course Overview

This 3 hour interactive course is designed to provide insight into how ultrasound is used in sports medicine and the current evidence base for its use.

Participants will learn the indications based on current research for cardiovascular musculoskeletal and abdominal ultrasound for athletes. They will gain understanding of several ultrasound techniques and the advantages of using ultrasound guidance for minimally invasive treatments including therapeutic injections.
