The team explores the MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®) and gain insights into their personality traits. At a meeting with Barney and Marcus, Serena claims that she introduced the concept of Myers-Briggs personality assessment to Cutting Edge. Dion explains that the Myer-Briggs Type Indicator® was first developed by Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers. It s based on Carl Jung s theory of four principal psychological functions by which we experience the world: sensation, intuition, feeling and thinking and there are four dichotomies: Extravert or Introvert, Sensing or Intuition, Thinking or Feeling, Judging or Perceiving. There are 16 personality types identified. The staff have fun testing themselves to discover which  combinations  they are. There are no wrong or right answers; the MBTI is a means of working out better modes of communication and understanding between employees. Carol uncharacteristically acknowledges Sherry' s contribution and makes it known that the original suggestion for the MBTI was Sherry's (the researcher at the bottom of the stairs).
