Trade Finance Security: Role of ECAs

The underlying goal of export credit agencies (ECAs) is to increase their country's exports by offering products that help companies realize foreign business opportunities, especially in emerging markets where the risk is greater. We look at how they do this by offering ECAs and guarantees/bonds to traders in their country, subject to certain limits.
