Course Overview
Trachoma is the leading cause of preventable infectious blindness in the world. It has been eradicated in all developed countries globally except Australia where it is endemic in remote communities. This 2.5 hour interactive course provides training on identification and assessment of trachoma.

Participants will learn the phases and the public health issues associated with trachoma. They will understand how an eye assessment is done and be able to identify the five grades of trachoma of the WHO simplified grading system.
