The internet as a workplace tool

The lines that once marked when people start and end work, not to mention where they work from, have blurred. Wireless technology coupled with internet connectivity enables people to work from home on suitable days, work staggered hours, work short weeks, etc. It is difficult to imagine a workplace without access to e-mail, mobile devices, video conferencing, cloud-based storage, online messaging, etc.
