Course description
In this course, you will learn about the content management features found in SharePoint Server 2010. After completing this course, you will have a good understanding of SharePoint 2010 capabilities around sites and site collections, user profiles, search, and information management policies. In addition, you will learn how to extend and customize the SharePoint environment via Business Connectivity Services and InfoPath.
Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.
Prerequisites
The course is designed for IT professionals and developers that wish to learn more about using SharePoint’s document management and collaboration facilities to the fullest. No SharePoint experience is assumed, but some prior exposure is helpful. For the portions of the course that include coding, it is assumed that the audience member is comfortable programming in .NET and using Visual Studio 2010.
