I know you're probably thinking, "We're all adults, we can handle jokes." But some people can't, and some jokes go too far. Each person responds differently to any situation, humorous ones included. Have you ever felt like someone is "putting you down"? These types of people are known as putdown offenders. It's when their humor is directed AT you. It can make you feel singled out and can be embarrassing or belittling.
