Options Trading: Basics

Options are widely traded both over the counter, and on regulated exchanges, and market participants use them in a variety of different trading strategies. We explore the two different ways options can be settled, look at the many underlying assets that have options on them, and then demonstrate three basic option strategies; protective puts, covered calls, and collars.
