Resources are an important component of any job. Each of us need resources to perform our job well. Whether it’s having the right equipment, technology, training, people support, or budget, we must at least have a basic level of resources to do our job. Without the right level of resources, most people struggle to perform even the most simple tasks. As a manager, part of your role is to ensure each of your employees have what they need to be successful in their role, this includes securing the right level of resources. While most people understand budget constraints and are willing to work with older equipment, less team members, and aging technology, it’s certainly good to know what your employees could use to be more efficient and productive.
