Change is all around us. We are always dealing with change, both in our personal life and at work. While this is true, as a leader, change takes on a whole new level of importance. Not only are we expected to help facilitate company change, our direct reports look to us to help them cope with and adjust to change. Therefore, it just makes sense we understand the factors that influence change, as well as people’s motivation to make any change.
