There are as many as 21 million people in forced labour around the world, which is estimated to generate a profit of £120 billion per annum. Organisations can be implicated in modern slavery both directly and indirectly in a variety of ways such as, in their own operations, through their global supply chains and through their involvement with business partners. Ideal for workers who work in any type of organisation who have large expansive work forces, who work with another organisation who do the same. The most vulnerable sectors are agriculture, construction, hospitality and manufacturing. Anyone can be the victim of Modern Slavery inside and outside of your organisation so it bears keeping this in mind and to train yourself and all your staff in becoming aware of Modern Slavery.
