Course Overview
Made up of eight modules, this course opens by defining what each of these terms means, before considering what the experience might be for sufferers of each different condition.
You will learn about the support needs of those with learning disabilities, dementia and mental health issues and develop a clear understanding of what related legal frameworks currently exist.
The knowledge element of standard 9 of the Care Certificate is covered in depth.
On course completion you will automatically get a certificate with your name, date, CPD hours earned and the learning objectives covered.
Target Audience
This course will be particularly useful for new members of staff in healthcare support worker roles, new members of staff in adult social care worker roles and any staff members who provide direct care to patients or individuals needing support.
This course is also useful if you’re moving into a new role or simply want to refresh your existing dementia care training or access mental health training online.
