Introduction to work health and safety for workers

This generic course is designed to overview basic WHS requirements for workers and contractors. It introduces the policies and procedures that help protect workers from WHS incidents and resulting injury, noting that local site policies and procedures over-ride any generic information supplied here, and specialised training may be offered for workers who may be exposed to job specific risks. Specialists such as fire wardens and first-aiders receive separate training specific to their responsibilities.
