Course Overview
Peter Quarry offers techniques for making a presentation more persuasive. He cites TED Talks’ research which found that a person’s posture, use of space, gestures, smiling impact strongly on credibility, intelligence, charisma. Other effective techniques include use of humor and stories that rely on characters, plot and emotion.
Presentations are enhanced when the presenter is persuasive. This is done through relaxed, dynamic body language and movement, smiling and telling stories.
