Course Overview
While there is a good deal of research on how to support children with special educational needs and disabilities, the evidence is not easy for teachers to access, and varies in quality and relevance to UK classrooms. This project aims to make this research more accessible to teachers.
In 2016, Coventry University was commissioned to review the research literature for evidence of ‘what works’ in supporting children with special educational needs in the classroom, in addition to a survey of current practice in schools. Our rapid evidence review was translated into a freely available teacher resource.
In this webinar I will highlight key findings from our review and highlight how the teacher resource can be used in practice.
