Economic Indicators: Complications in Computation

Numerical methods range from the simple (calculating percentages) to the relatively complex (evaluating investment opportunities). Regardless of how scientific the methodology, statistics can still be open to interpretation. Here we examine a few complications with numerical calculations. In particular, we look at revisions, percentages, and the convergence illusion.
