Cal/OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens

The goal of this course is to help you understand the risks involved in working in situations where exposure is possible, and the safety measures that employers and employees can take to avoid exposure to bloodborne pathogens. We will review the ways in which bloodborne pathogens are transmitted, the symptoms of exposure, the equipment that can remove or isolate the hazard from the workplace, and the practices that reduce the likelihood of exposure.
