If you work overtime in California, this course is for you! As you might know, under federal law, nonexempt employees are entitled to overtime pay. This law indicates that they should be paid one-and-a-half times their usual hourly wage when they work more than 40 hours in one workweek. However, in California, the state law is a little different.
