Course Overview

Azure Active Directory is a cloud-based directory service in which technicians can create user and group accounts to control resource access through RBAC. This course will also cover Azure subscription management.

• recognize how Azure AD is a serverless cloud-based directory service
• navigate through Azure AD using the portal
• use the portal to create an Azure AD user and group
• enable multifactor authentication for an Azure AD user
• identify the role that the Azure subscription plays when using Azure cloud services
• recognize the purpose of Azure subscription policies and initiatives
• assign built-in RBAC roles using the portal
• create a custom RBAC role using the CLI
• assign a custom role using the portal
• tag Azure resources using the Portal, CLI, and PowerShell
• use the portal to lock Azure resources to control resource modifications and deletions
