Azure Fundamentals: Azure Network Security

Course Overview

Just like with on-premises networks, Azure virtual networks must be secured to protect resources deployed into those networks. This course covers VNets, Azure Firewall, the Key Vault, and other key Azure network security options.

• recognize firewall options available to protect Azure resources
• implement Azure Firewall using the Azure portal
• recognize how Azure can protect against DDoS attacks
• describe the purpose of Azure Network Security Groups
• implement Azure Network Security Groups using the GUI
• implement Azure Network Security Groups using the CLI
• implement Azure Network Security Groups using PowerShell
• use a jump box to access private Azure VMs
• enable and use Just-in-Time (JIT) VM access
• install an antimalware VM extension using the portal
• limit VNet access to a storage account
• Identify how Azure Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) protects against threats
• map Azure security features to business needs
