Asset Allocation: Evaluation and Classification of Assets

An asset class can be defined generally as a group of securities or instruments that demonstrate similar characteristics, behave similarly in the market, and are essentially subject to the same laws and regulations. We look at the main asset classes and evaluate those assets with respect to their expected return, risk and correlation.
